Lords golf and country club have chosen the Imagination members web site to increase their communications with their members.

The extensive tools and easy to use interface means that Lords can retain control of their information whilst not having to worry about any of the technical stuff.

The in-built links to Handicap Master ensure that it is very easy to keep updated and provide useful information.

The members register on the site and all have their own username and password. They can update their own contact details and send each other emails through the site. This means that the club maintains more up to date details without having to manage it themselves.

The ability for members to access diaries, competition results, handicap lists and print there own handicap certificate saves the club officials hours of time each month.

For more details on why they chose this system and for a demonstration. Call Ian Coupland on 01276 681027.

ICR have added support for the range servant ball dispenser machines.

Golf clubs can now use the ICR touch till software to sell tokens and the system automatically produces the 4 digit touch code that users can then type into the range servant ball dispensing machines.

This makes it a lot easier for the clubs to manage the ball dispenser and ensures that they keep a much better control on how many balls are being paid for.

The interface allows the club to program the price, number of balls and expiry time on the ICR till software. This information then gets sent over to the range servant PC and a 4 digit code is produced and returned.

ICR is the preferred till of Imagination for use in the bar and pro shop. It includes all the functionality that golf clubs need to run and manage their sales.

We have recently upgraded Tyrrells Wood golf club’s server to Microsoft Small business server 2008. This means they can now take advantage of some of the many features that Microsoft have included.

Initially it has enabled us to remove the separate Mail-Server that they had in place. SBS included exchange server so it means we are comfortably running it all on the same box. It also means that they can take advantage of better “out of office” auto responders and SPAM filtering.

SBS 2008 includes features such as shared calendars, tasks and shared contacts. This means that they can create a staff holiday calendar and also a staff rota system. Now everybody at the club who uses MS Outlook can see exactly who is in and when they are on duty.

Contact details for customers or suppliers can now be stored centrally so that every member of staff has got access to the same contact database. This makes the whole club more efficient and allows it to act more like a business.

We are also due to configure Sharepoint which we hope to use as a intranet system allow the club to keep better control over some of there internal procedures including holiday requests, sickness reports and purchase orders.

Imagination are also developing a series of forms that will be used to manage events and functions at the club. All of these can be stored centrally so that every member of staff has access to them and the built in version control means the club can manage any changes to event details.

“This is a major step forward for us and I am confident that we will see a distinct improvement to the service that we offer, the efficiency of the club and almost directly an increase in income” – Luke Edgcumbe (General Manager)

Imagination have just been instructed to design & build a new web site for Petersfield Golf Club. The club is looking to build on the good year that they have had and want to produce a site that will promote the strengths of the club.

“We have been working with Imagination for a long time now and the things they do by combining the web site and the internal I.T. system makes them the obvious choice for this project” – Peter Badger (Secretary)

The new site should be up and running in the next few weeks and will be ready for the Autumn.

Imagination have added a bulk email application to its suite of software. This now allows users to send out HTML formatted emails to the registered users on the system.

Combined with our ability to capture non membes contact details, this means that we can offer the golf clubs a cost effective and easy to use way of sending out quality emails that help them to market and promote themselves.

The system also includes an easy sign up form that can be added to the clubs web sites. This makes it very simple to capture further contatc information.

Imagination have recently developed and published the new St Mellion Web Site. After several different design styles, Crown finally settled on a clean a fresh feel that goes with their new hotel development.

The web site is there to promote the facility and attract new visitors to the resort. St mellion has long been one of the South Wests premier golf and haelth club facilities and Imagination are proud to be involved with the project.

The design has prooved so successful that we are now re designing the current Crown golf web site itself and this will be following a similar design style. Some other Crown clubs are following suite and requesting that their sites are re desgned using a similar style.
