16 | 12 | 07 Tyrrells Wood Golf Club invest in their future

When Tyrrells Wood decided that it was time for them to modernise their equipment, they spoke to Imagination. They wanted a system that would help them run their business. We put together a proposal that offered them the opportunity to modernise their I.T. equipment and implement a system that would see them into the future. They decided that this was going to be the major investment.

They were looking for a system that could provide a complete integrated solution.  They knew they needed new F&B tills and membership solution but they wanted to have a package that would help them run their event business as well.  They currently have to manage over £500,000 per years worth of F&B business and it was all run using diaries and spreadsheets.  The system had to be able to help manage that business and help them ensure that they offer their clients the quality of service they need.

The clubhouse at Tyrrells Wood is a grade II listed building.  Part of the brief was to install a new quality network that would ensure that whatever they needed now or in the future was catered for.  Imagination put together the proposal, worked with the club to ensure that it included everything they needed and then implemented the system.

We have installed Tills for the bar area, computers for the office and catering department, competitions and handicapping for the members and an event management system to help run the function business.  We also designed and built a web site to help promote the club and provide the members with a platform for better communication and information.

“The implementation of the IMS system has been one of the smoothest I.T. systems I have ever been involved with.  Imagination have been incredibly helpful and we are grateful for the support they have given,  They have gone above and beyond what we expected”   Luke Edgcumbe – General Manager
